Dear MACB Members,
We appreciate your interest and enrolment in the European Federation of Laboratory Medicine (EFLM) e-Academy 2025. As the EFLM Academy’s affiliated national association, MACB will once again facilitate a block enrolment system for our current ACTIVE members, beginning in January 2026.
Key Enrolment Information for MACB Active Members:
- RENEWAL & NEW ENROLMENT: If you are a current member interested in renewing or a new ACTIVE member wishing to enroll, please register your name with MACB.
- Annual Fee: The fee payable to MACB is RM 85.00 per person (including bank charges). This covers the membership period from January to December 2026.
- Registration Deadline: The deadline for submitting your registration and payment to MACB is 30 NOV 2025.

- Payment Proof: Remember to upload the payment receipt in the link provided as proof of payment.
- Block Enrolment Limit: After the 30 NOV 2025 deadline, it will no longer be possible to add members under MACB's block enrolment (members may still register on an individual basis directly with EFLM).
IMPORTANT UPDATE on CLSI Access
Please be aware of a significant change regarding one of the previously offered benefits:
- Discontinuation of CLSI Access: We have been informed that the collaboration with the Clinical Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI) will be discontinued as of January 2026, following a unilateral decision by CLSI.
- Impact: Consequently, EFLM Academy Members will no longer have complimentary access to the CLSI Eclipse library through the EFLM Academy block enrolment.
While the complimentary CLSI document access for those collectively enrolled through National Societies (Malaysian Association of Clinical Biochemists) will cease, all other valuable professional privileges and membership benefits of the EFLM Academy will remain unaffected.
